The new goal is to finish the rest of my books by the end of THIS month. Up next is Kay Chronister's THE BOG WIFE!!! #BogWitchReads #BogWitchReadsBogWitch #TBR #HorrorReads I'm so excited to announce something I've been working on for a while, The Scrawler Tapes, a horror-themed (and sometimes horror-focused) writing craft blog. These posts are primarily geared toward beginners and intermediate/early career authors, but I hope that folks at any skill and experience level will find something useful. The blog will feature craft discussions, book reviews, guest posts, and sometimes stranger things. Taking my sweet time on my next book, "Passing Through a Prairie Country," by Dennis E. Staples. In the meantime, I couldn't resist this spooky, small-town graphic novel. #TBR #HorrorReads #GraphicNovel #DC #QueerReads #WomenInHorror Huh, that's strange. I should check the archives... It took me far too long to finish, but it is done. Not my favorite of the Southern Reach books, but still a fascinating view behind the veil. I still hate Lowry's guts. My reading has really slowed down, but this book was stunning. Perhaps more fabulism than full fantasy, it reads like litfic, composing a spectacular parallel history to the ones we know. I see folks use the phrase #BogWitch a lot so I thought I'd have some silly clip art fun with why it applies in my case 😉 #TagYourself #Procrastinating #ISpentTooLongOnThis I spent longer reading this book than I had planned, but it went out with a bang!
